Students

Our kids can't wait.
Our schools can't wait.

It’s time to act now to give every student a safe, healthy place to learn. Our students need your support. Join the effort to approve the Lake Stevens levy renewals in the February 10 election.

We are a volunteer-run committee of parents and community members working together to advocate for voter-approved school funding for Lake Stevens School District. Like all districts in our state, we need to ask voters to approve funding for school construction bonds and operational and educational levies.

Adult Students

There are two critical levy renewals on the February 10 ballot:

Proposition 1: Renewal of the Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy

Prop. 1 keeps our schools strong. This replacement levy renews funding our district relies on every day—resources the state does not fully cover but our students depend on.

A YES vote continues the investments that help every student learn and grow:

Great educators and manageable class sizes

This levy helps the district hire and retain talented teachers and staff. It keeps class sizes from growing and ensures schools can plan for enrollment needs.

Health and safety in every school

The levy keeps full-time nurses in each school and funds mental health support specialists in our secondary schools. It also maintains security staff and improvements to safety systems and protocols.

Strong student programs and opportunities

A Yes vote continues funding for early learning programs, along with athletics, arts, music, and extracurricular activities—programs that help students discover their interests and stay connected to school.

Proposition 2: Renewal of the Technology Levy

Prop. 2 renews the Technology Levy our community has supported for years. This is not a new tax—it continues funding that keeps classrooms connected, secure, and running smoothly.

A Yes vote ensures students and staff have the tools they need to learn, teach, and stay safe in a digital world.

Up-to-date devices for students

This levy renews the district’s 1:1 device program so every student has access to a reliable computer. It also replaces aging devices and keeps classroom technology current.

Secure and dependable systems

A Yes vote protects student information and keeps schools safe online. The levy funds data security, cyber protection, digital citizenship instruction, and essential network and infrastructure upgrades.

Support, training, and innovation

The levy provides ongoing tech support for students, families, and staff. It also funds professional learning and innovation so educators can integrate technology effectively into teaching.
